SALT LAKE CITY — Police were looking Monday for a boy who fired multiple shots at two pedestrians.

About 5:15 p.m. Sunday, two men, both in their 20s, were approached by a boy near 300 South and 1000 West who claimed there was another boy walking around the area with a gun, said Salt Lake Police Sgt. Robin Heiden.

The two men spotted the suspect walking with a woman, followed him and asked if he had a gun, she said. Heiden said the teen responded by firing multiple shots in their direction.

No one was injured. At least one house was hit, Heiden said. The gunman was described as Hispanic boy about 17 years old with lighter skin, a thin build, bald, and scruffy in appearance, according to police. He was last seen wearing a red and black plaid shirt, black pants, a red or black hat, and red shoes.
