Walt Disney Animation Studios announced Wednesday that on Sept. 2 it will air an hour-long, behind-the-scenes special on ABC titled "The Story of 'Frozen': Making an Animated Classic."

The feature will include a look inside the Walt Disney Animation Studios, commentary from "Frozen" stars including Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, and views from Norwegian villages that inspired the look and feel of the fictional kingdom Arendelle, according to Disney Insider.

"A breathtaking and fantastic saga, the special tells the real story of making a modern movie based on a timeless tale that nearly overnight became a cultural touchstone for legions of fans," Disney Insider reported.

This first-of-its-kind collaboration will be produced by Lincoln Square Productions and Walt Disney Animation and will air from 8-9 p.m. EST on ABC.
