RETURN ENGAGEMENT

Score one for honesty.

While most coaches go directly to the respect-everyone, fear-no-one rhetoric, Idaho State’s Mike Kramer plows forward unrestrained. Addressing the chance to end a 44-game road losing streak (now 45), last week, he said, “Opening up at Utah and next week at Utah State, I’m sure that streak’s really not in danger.”

After losing 56-14 to the Utes, Kramer said, “We fell in the well. We set a goal to get a drink out of the bucket and we fell all the way in.”

Note to Utes: Please schedule Idaho State every single year.

No - please don't ever play them again. And I hope we(the power conferences) finally decide to stop playing mid majors and just play each other.

Go UTES

Yes, please play them annually so that certain Ute fans dont have as much fodder to harp about everyone else's SOS.

Besides, if they barely get enough wins to finally qualify for a bowl game, they will be eternally indebted to Idaho State... a thought that is very appealing.

The P 5's like to talk about not playing mid majors, but it will never happen as they need a few patsies on their schedules. Oh wait, my mistake, that is why they added teams like Maryland , TCU, and Utah to their conferences. The P 5 created their own internal "mid majors" to beat up on.

Please play them so we can win them because we don't win very much.

Go Utes!
