James Edward is a sports writer at the Deseret News, serving as the prep editor and Real Salt Lake beat writer. A graduate of the University of Utah in 1998, he has been a full-time sports writer of the Deseret News since 1999. James was raised in Salt Lake City and attended Olympus High School, graduating in 1994. He's had a passion for all sports since he was a toddler. James and his wife, Megan, have two children and live in Sandy, Utah.
