BYU, Utah and Utah State are all stepping up in their schedules this season, which means that there's plenty of exciting games to watch.
BYU is playing its most difficult schedule in school history with big names like Texas, Wisconsin and Notre Dame on the docket. Utah faces a brutal Pac-12 schedule that includes games against Pac-12 North powerhouses Oregon and Stanford. Utah State is making the transition to its new home in the Mountain West Conference.
We've already covered the best in-state home games. Now, it's time to look at the top 10 overall games involving Utah's FBS college football teams.

1 of 10. No. 10: Boise State at BYU
Date: Oct. 25
Venue: LaVell Edwards Stadium
Last year's Boise State game was one of many missed opportunities as the Cougars fell 7-6 on the Smurf Turf after a failed 2-point conversion.
Now, if BYU wants to take back the title of the premier team not in an automatic qualifying conference, it has to take it away from the Broncos. It can do just that as the Broncos visit LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The Cougars better take this opportunity. This might be the best shot they get before Chris Petersen builds Boise State into a top five program again.
2 of 10. No. 9: Utah at Oregon
Venue: Autzen Stadium
Even though Chip Kelly is gone to the NFL, Utah will have its hands full with the Oregon offense.
After all, the Ducks still have Marcus Mariota and De'Anthony Thomas.
The road to a Rose Bowl bid runs right through Autzen Stadium. Can the Utes slow them down enough to win?
3 of 10. No. 8: BYU at Wisconsin
Venue: Camp Randall Stadium
BYU plays some of college football's best coaches, but no big-time coach will be more motivated to beat the Cougars than new Wisconsin head coach Gary Andersen.
Andersen built Utah State into a conference champion, but the one thing he just wasn't able to do was beat BYU. Now, he gets another shot at the Cougars as he takes over coaching the Badgers.
That adds more even more flavor to an already fascinating game.
4 of 10. No. 7: Boise State at USU
Venue: Romney Stadium
Utah State made history by winning its first conference championship since it joined the FBS. Despite losing head coach Gary Andersen to Wisconsin, the Aggies return quarterback Chuckie Keeton and most of their key players from last season.
Which means that Utah State can make history again.
However, the Aggies now play in a more difficult conference in the Mountain West. If they want a ticket to the MWC championship game, they have to beat Boise State.
And who knows? A big win like that could be a springboard for a possible BCS busting campaign.
5 of 10. No. 6: UCLA at Utah
Venue: Rice-Eccles Stadium
Whether or not they beat Pac-12 North powerhouse Stanford and Oregon, the Utes can win their division if they can beat UCLA at home.
The Pac-12 South doesn't have a clear favorite, so a win over the Bruins at home would give the Utes a leg up. However, that will be a tall order as UCLA returns quarterback Brett Hundley and All-American linebacker Anthony Barr.
