From visiting Sundance to permanent resident: Stars who own property in Park City (16 items)

PARK CITY — After the Sundance Film Festival closes in Park City, many celebrities go back to their homes in Los Angeles or New York. However, a handful of notable athletes, businessmen and actors have put down roots in Park City.

Here is a list of some who have purchased real estate in Park City, including the prices of some properties currently for sale.

1 of 16. William Hall "Billy" Bush

Bush is the primary host on the television show "Access Hollywood," in addition to hosting his own radio program, The Billy Bush Show.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Bush owns "a four-bedroom, 5,200-square-foot house he bought for over $2 million right in town in 2005." The journal notes that Bush is looking to upgrade in the future to "a larger, more expensive home on a 22-acre plot about 10 minutes from downtown."

2 of 16. Bill Engvall

Comedian and member of the Blue Collar Comedy group, Engvall has had property in Park City for more than a decade. He is a member of the Glenwild Golf Club, along with NBA star Michael Jordan, who lives in the area.

3 of 16. Jim Furyk

The 2003 U.S. Open winner, 2010 FedEx Cup champion and 2010 PGA Tour Player of the Year recently put up his four-bedroom, 3.5-bath, 2,140-square-foot Deer Valley condo for sale for a mere $2,399,000.

According to deervalleyhomesforsale.com, Furyk's listing has been taken down, which means the condo has been sold or removed from the market, or the listing has been moved.

Known for hosting "Good Morning America" and anchoring ABC's "World News Tonight," Charles Gibson has called Park City home for nearly three decades. According to the Wall Street Journal, "Gibson bought his first home in Park City in 1987, the same year he signed on to host 'Good Morning America,' and then built a bigger house in the mid-1990s that is visible from one of the Deer Valley ski lifts."

Heigl is best known for her role as Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on the television show "Grey's Anatomy," as well as her roles in a variety of films. Heigl, her husband and their two children live on a 25-acre ranch in Utah.

there are a lot more than on this list, that's for sure. I'm guessing that most are smart enough to buy under assumed names or within corporate names. I know one that has his house in his brothers name.
