Yet another bonus for Utes' Krystkowiak. Also, BYU to play in Miami Beach against someone from ... America.

1 of 10. POLICING THE COURT

Utah basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak has agreed to a contract extension that will run through the 2018-19 season.

Among the inducements: a $375,000 bonus if he stays through 2016-17 and another $375,000 if he stays through the length of the contract.

Not to mention any reward money he makes apprehending bicycle thieves.

2 of 10. DECEPTION CENTRAL

Former Boise State football coach Chris Petersen tells USA Today that at Washington he can walk around Seattle and “no one has a clue who I am.”

Looks like the Statue of Liberty play still has ‘em looking the other way.

3 of 10. SLEEPYTOWN

Lamar Odom signed a contract with the New York Knicks at the end of the season.

After all the publicity over marrying a Kardashian, he obvously just needed to go someplace where he wouldn’t be hounded by the media.

4 of 10. BET ON IT

Jeff Van Gundy, who coached the Houston Rockets for four years, picked the Rockets to win the NBA title.

In other news, Nancy Pelosi is calling for a Democratic landslide in the mid-term elections.

5 of 10. MOTIVATING FACTOR

The NCAA is eliminating rules that limit the number of meals and snacks student-athletes can eat.

Apparently the governing organization agreed with Bill Murray in “What about Bob?”: “Pile it high and deep, will ya, please?”

I did the same double-take on the Miami Beach Bowl too. I thought it was the Atlantic Coast Conference they were playing until I realized that's spelled ACC not AAC. I'm not sure, but I think the American conference is made up of teams who weren't good enough to get into the Big East.
