19 Disney and Broadway songs performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (19 items)

Aug. 10, 2014

Throughout the years, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has performed several popular songs from Broadway musicals and Disney movies.

In 2012, the choir put on a concert for President Thomas S. Monson's 85th birthday in which they performed songs from many of the prophet's favorite musicals.

In July of this year, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir also performed several Broadway and Disney songs with guest artist Santino Fontana during the Pioneer Day concert.

While many solo performances by guest artists have included songs from Broadway or Disney, such as Alfie Boe's performance of "Bring Him Home" from the musical "Les Miserables," this list only includes songs the choir sang with the artist or on its own.

Click through this list to watch 19 videos of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performing popular Disney songs and Broadway tunes.

And nothing from "The Book of Mormon"... I just love the songs in that.

Once again, a mysterious fascination on the part of the DN with all things Disney. Is Disney paying the DN for all the coverage in this and in many more articles over the last few months?

It's practically impossible to watch and listen to these songs without smiling.

Instead of Disney and Broadway songs performed by the MTC, I would be interested in MTC songs performed in any Disney or Broadway productions.
